Caramel is a carbohydrate based food color having a wide spectrum of use, as per the grades in accordance to P.F.A. and ISI.
Caramel (Food Grade) is used in the manufacture os food additives such
as milo, Ovaltine, Maltova, Bournvita, Boost, Toffees and hard-boiled
Candies, Cakes, Butter Cheese etc.
Caramel (Acid Fast) is used in the manufacture of vinegar, Soya sauce, Medicines and Cola drinks etc.
Caramel (Spirit Soluble) is used in the coloring of potable liquors. It is made from edible grade of sugar.
Sucramel is our brand of Caramel for use in superior quality of potable
liquors requiring un-limited shelf life. It is made form double
re-crystalised best quality sugar.
Caramel is one color that has normal food like effect on our body.
Unlike coal-tar dyes which are carcinogenic, the human body does not
have to detoxify caramel. Medico has been the 1st ever to be granted
ISI for caramel in India.
